Strategy

• Develop a TILLING population
• Select/isolate the gene of interest (direct or orthologous)
• Identify SNP
• Screen the mutants with specific strategy

have better homology in Tobacco genome sequence, there fore pulling out 
the region in tobacco may not of big trouble

The remaining genes, it is better to design primers on the mapped 
region of Tobacco to pull out the region in Tobacco
