  1. Be modest
    1. Blind spot: Most young managers try to prove themselves, so they end up in discouraging their sub-ordinates from speaking up thereby fail to benefit from their experiences
  2. Listen seriously
    1. Blind spot: Don't look at mobile / watch when someone else is talking
  3. Invite disagreement
    1. Induce disagreement to identify the new blind spots
  4. Focus the Agenda
  5. Don't try to have all answers
## Encourage the sub-ordinates to have the answers rather than trying to find all possible answers/solutions
  1. Don't insist that a decision must be made
    1. If you can't get agreement on a decision, don't rush to one.
