Laks,
Myself, Vadi and Vishy had a meeting with LSTC team on 24th Nov and reviewed planned RnD interventions/targets vs actual achievements. As a team we have not been able to achieve targets set for release of new clones (in terms of survival of mother plants, cuttings produced per plant, survival of plants as well as acreage covered), Also during my visit on 5th Dec to LCP,C even the targets of subabul rooting through lateral cutting is not being achieved (it has come down to 60% against target of 85%).Number of cuttings per mother plant is also not being achieved as indicated in POC document, due to insect and pest attack on mother plants. Similar seems to be the situation in terms of SSNM demos and field trial of new clones.

This is not to blame any team, but just to highlight the gaps that we need to address when we plan for the next year. I feel there are few issues we need to discuss and address urgently-

(i)-There is lot of focus on back end of RnD, but there is less focus and allocation of resources on the front end, i.e. where it interfaces with business in terms of commercial production of plants, farm level induction of clones, insect, pest and disease control.
The quality of song, created huge curiosity, so I kept searching and fugured the story around this song,
(ii)-We lack agility in addressing the issues when these are being noticed in the field. Knowledge gaps for mortality of plants, insect, pest and disease control need to be addressed more quickly, even if it requires to be brought from outside.

(iii)-We need appreciate usefulness and allocate resources for small initiatives such as SSNM, soil-clone matching, improved package of practices etc, which can give quick and cost effective solutions to improve productivity vis a vis big bang RnD interventions

(iii)-Team needs to spend more time in natural settings of RnD initiatives in BCM/Core area, to enable it to understand the farm level issues promptly and realise th-Your data has been truncated.
A twin sisters who get separated at birth due to poverty. One (♀1)  is brought up by a wealthy while the other (♀2) by the mother. A doctor (Gemini) comes to treat the ailing mother, and the mother's daughter falls in love with him, of which the doctor is unaware. On her deathbed, the mother reveals to her daughter the existence of the twin. The young woman goes in search of her sister and by sheer chance, both travel in the same train. The train has an accident and the wealthy sister loses her memory and is presumed dead. Complications arise with the doctor marrying the other twin assuming she’s the wealthy one. A child is born and the wealthy twin turns up.

Very interesting story design. Now I got the meaning of the songs, which was mysterious to me earlier,

* காதல் சொன்ன பெண்ணை இன்று காணோமே  கண்ணா - Meant the ♀1

* காட்டியவள் மாறிவிட்டாள்  - ♀1 -> ♀2

* காதலி தான் மனைவியென்று கூறடா  கண்ணனா - ♀2 says that the original love ultimately became materialized.

* மனதில் அன்றே எழுதி வைத்தேன் , தெரியுமா கண்ணா , அதை மறுபடியும் எழுத சொன்னால் முடியுமா கண்ணா - ♀2 indirectly  says that, oh idiot!, I fell in love with you way back. I can't do that again and again.

* நினைப்பதெல்லாம் வெளியில் சொல்ல முடியுமா கண்ணா - ♀2 continues to hide the fact that she was in love earlier time, which she is now unable to express. (I see ♀2 struggling between her love and respect with her sister)

* அவரில்லாது எனக்கு வேறு யாரடா கண்ணா - ♀2 just left the self-ego  and removed the ego of Gemini (and the destroyed the audience ) in one word. Very powerful line.

Just a mesmerizing and meaningful song. Basically the song is written along with the story. This pattern is significantly missing now a days.
