I tried to connect two of your earlier concerns on emotions and maturity as I believe there is a thin line of relation.

Let’s broadly catogorise emotions as +ve excited state (happy, love, excitement, sex etc) and –ve excited (fear; jealous, anger etc). Human mind generally oscillates between these two

As we know from deep inside, Neutral mind /approach is generally solution seeking, matured, better decision making for any given issue or state. This does not mean that one has to be always driven by neutral thoughts. We were trained from birth as being either extreme side of the above scale gives us happiness (although we knew, it is a false positive).

.., கல்லூரி வாழ்க்கை இன்னும் இனிமையாய் இருந்திருக்குமோ? I would definitely say, NO. Because, neutral mind is always a solution seeking, does not allow your internal excitements, while our college time required some excited state, as that was felt as happiness at that time. As you would see, the definition of happiness also changed with time. How do we assess this? Simple. Hypothetically, bring the maturity level of next 25 years (D) and apply that now. My guess is that, there could be solutions and better decisions, but we might have lost the earlier excitements.

Although I didn’t quote any example, my understanding from all these is only one thing. Let’s live in the present as there is no tomorrow.
