			ou don't need khata for Bescom transfer. I did without khata.

			Your khata number appears in EC.

			PPMS takes a week to 10 days for NOC. They need photocopies of few pages of sale deed n a letter.

			You don't need cardboard file. Bescom are using their own.

			You need to submit individual pp size photographs of all owners.

			All owners need to sign the documents in order of ownership.

			All owners need not go to Bescom office.

			Better to get indemnity Bond n agreement copies from yelahanka bescom office. The formats keep changing n websites are not updated.

			You need to submit a separate request letter for address change if you need to have the bill with your own flat number and address. Though you submit address proof, they don't change address unless you request.

			Notaries are available close to bescom office, in a lane near mini vidhan soudha. Take all papers with you n you can bargain. If you go with one or 2 papers they say minimum 100.

Steps you need to follow:
1. Carry all the above documents from above 1-10 documents with you.(exception point-8,9 documents)
2. From above point-11, take the print out of first 2 pages.
2. You need to fill the details in first page
3. Second page will be filled by assistant junior engineer - UMA Shankar in Rajanukunte sub division office.
4. Now with all these documents goto yelahanka Bescom office - quite diagonal to RMZ Galleria Mall.
5. Go to first floor - Fast track cell room. Make sure all documents are verified by corner guy(Very helpful and down to earth guy) in the fast track room.
6. Same person will give indemnity bond, power supply agreement-above point 8,9.
7. Once all documents are reviewed go to next room and AE officer will review and provide the signature in one of the document.
(AE OFFICER - This guy is little arrogant). Also it depends sometimes this step is optional to get signature.
8. Come back to fast track cell room and give it back to same initial guy and he will scan and keep all the documents and upload into the system.
9.Meanwhile he will ask to go ground floor and pay 618/- charges in the outside counter.(Center counter outside next to the building entrance)
Name change fee-100/-
Agreement - 250/-
Indemnity fee - 250/-
Total-618/-
10. carry exact change and get receipt
11. Now fast track cell room guy will file all above documents(point 1-11)in the cardboard file-along with the receipt you paid.
12. Once after 3-5 days this process will complete. You can check online based on your account id from Bescom Bill.
13. Bescom office Timings Mon-Friday (10-3:30 pm),
Saturday 10-1:30 pm.
